2021 Top Shelf Hockey - Summer Tourney Series events


  • Girls AA - 2 Age Levels - 10U (2011 & 2012) / 12U (2009 & 2010)
    • 12 Hours of on-ice practice & 3 tournament weekends
  • Boys AA - 3 Age Levels - 10U Squirt (2011 & 2012) / 12U Pee Wee (2009 & 2010) / 14U Bantam (2007 & 2008)
    • 15 Hours of on-ice practice & 3 tournament weekends 

Top Shelf Hockey Midwest is offering an opportunity for Girls & Boys to focus on Summer Skill Development (SSD). Program highlights include SSD practice time along with 3 tournaments which each have 4+ game guarantees. Tournaments are hosted in the Minneapolis, MN area. The Showcase Hockey Tourney Series requires team members to utilize the Stay & Play Tournament website to reserve hotel rooms. More information for the Tourney Series can be found here,

Registration Fees


  • Girl's Registration Fees Include: 
    • 12 Hours of on-ice Practice
    • 3 Tournament Entries

    • Players = $825 / $925
    • Full-Time Goalie = $600 / $700
    • 1/2 Time Goalie = $400 / $500
      • Add $100 for those who need Uniforms

  • Boy's Registration Fees Include: 
    • 15 Hours of on-ice Practice
    • 3 Tournament Entries

    • Players = $875 / $975
    • Full-Time Goalie = $650 / $750
    • 1/2 Time Goalie = $450 / $550
      • Add $100 for those who need Uniforms 

Deposit: $600 is due by Friday, February 19, 2021 with balance due by Friday, March 19, 2021

Brian Wierson

Currently Coaching within AMHA. Experience includes college, high school & youth since 1998. Received the MHSHL Coach of the Year Award in 2017. 

JJ Santagata

Originally from Merrick, NY and is now the Head Coach of Little Cyclone Hockey. Conducts off-ice training for all ages of players in multiple sports. 

brendan sheehan

Originally from Naperville, IL, Sheehan came to Ames to work with the Cyclone Hockey Team. Sheehan has Coached all levels of players and was the 2013 ACHA D3 Coach of the Year!
